报告题目:Innovations in Zimbabwe's Agri-Food Processingand Equipment


报告人简介:

    Dr. Elijah Nyakudya serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Environment and FoodSystems at the University of Zimbabwe. He is a leading scientist and manager in the field of Food andBioprocess Engineering, with more than 23 years of academic and professional experience in foodprocess engineering, food biotechnology, and value-added technologies in Zimbabwe. Dr. Nyakudya holds a PhD in Food/Bioprocess Engineering from Chonbuk National University in South Korea, anMSc in Agrofood and Bioprocess Technology from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, and BSc Honor Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe. He is currently the Chairman of the University of Zimbabwe Agro-Industrial Park Board of Management. Throughout hiscareer, he has held several key positions, including: Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Environmentand Food Systems, Executive Director of the China-Zimbabwe Belt and Road Joint Laboratory on Agricultural Ecology and Cash Crops at the University of Zimbabwe. With more than 40 publicationsin the fields of food biotechnology, food engineering, and agricultural engineering, Dr. Nyakudya has extensive experience in training, research, and consultancy related to food and bioprocess technology, as well as agricultural equipment design.
